Hermann's Tortoise

The Hermann’s Tortoise (Testudo hermanni) is a popular, active, and inquisitive Mediterranean tortoise known for its manageable adult size of 7 to 10 inches and striking yellow-and-black patterned shell. As a hardy and long-lived herbivore that can thrive for over 50 years, it makes a rewarding companion for keepers who can provide a secure outdoor habitat or a spacious indoor tortoise table equipped with specialized UVB lighting and proper heating.
